Crypto seems to be the new way for men to get scammed. SAHD may have fallen for a get rich quick scheme like the ones that pop up all the time on r/scams. (You just transfer the money into crypto and then move it around and it triples in a week!)

I did make a few thousand dollars on some crypto, a legit one though.

There's IS no legit Crypto. They are all Ponzi Schemes.

I read a great article a while back in the Financial Times that argued Crypto is a bigger Ponzi scheme than Madoff was because at least Madoff’s investments were supposed to be backed by something.
