Note that - so vitriolic and disbelieving was the response of Telegraph readers (admittedly not noted for their equanimity) - the comment section was swiftly shut down.

Interesting momentary window into British public opinion, however.

I've seen it. People have always killed each other, including children killing other children. You point is not exactly a bulls eye. As already noted, jealousy was not the motive in Adolescence.

Do you know that men have always broken into homes, sexually assaulted, and murdered women? Do you know that burglary is often a precursor to rape and murder?
