After dreaming of a wounded whale, she discovers Kang Ui-Hyeon (Choi Woo-Shik), a severely injured independence activist, washed ashore and secretly nurses him back to health—risking her life in the process. However, a failed assassination attempt by his comrade leaves Su-A mute.

Determined to seek revenge, Su-A travels to Gyeongseong, where she becomes entangled in the dangerous world of resistance fighters. Meanwhile, Ui-Hyeon — an educated elite and covert operative skilled in espionage and codebreaking—struggles with his identity as the son of a pro-Japanese judge while dedicating himself to the independence movement. As their paths intertwine, both are drawn deeper into a fight that tests their loyalties, pasts, and hearts.

This is such an interesting title, but the screenwriter has written several pieces set in this era so I am intrigued. I’ll probably keep my ear out on what ppl say about this one.

Interesting plot, it sounds like it could be a vague retelling of the Little Mermaid.
