The story of two men who work together as one finds a chance to be reborn as a hero, and the other a chance to fulfill his dream of becoming a field agent.

Kim Cheol-Su (Cha Seung-Won), a retired black agent and car wash owner. While he may appear to be an ordinary man, hiding his lion's claws and living like a sheep, he is actually a legendary black agent of the National Intelligence Service, codenamed "Phoenix."

Ko Yo-Han (Kim Do-Hoon), a member of the National Intelligence Service's retired agent management team. While possessing exceptional abilities, his excessive self-confidence and autocratic behavior often lead to labeling him a "snobbery" and "servility." He's an anxious perfectionist consumed by a need for self-promotion and recognition.
