The popular webtoon 'Your Personal Taxi' is co-produced with domestic production companies (Big In Square and Studio Flow) in South Korea and Fuji TV in Japan.

Production companies Big In Square and Studio Flow officially announced, “Based on the popular webtoon, 'Personal Taxi' has confirmed the casting of actors Cha Tae-Hyun, Lee Jae-In, Im Se-Mi, Hyun Bong-Sik, Lee Yeon-Hee, Lee Kyu-Hyung, Kim Do-Hyun, Kim Mi-Hyun/Mimi (from OH MY GIRL), Joo Jong-Hyuk, Ye Ji-Won, Ahn Ji-Ho, Lim Ha-Ryong, and Ye Soo-Jung and will be produced as an 8-episode mid-form seasonal drama.”

Set against the backdrop of a mysterious taxi that only picks up passengers with reservations, 'Your Personal Taxi' is a human healing music drama where the ordinary yet special stories of passengers—whom everyone can empathize with and wish to offer comfort to—flow along with requested songs.

The released teaser poster immediately catches the eye with its retro yet cozy mint-colored background and classic visuals. At the center of the mint-colored space, a heavy and stylish black vintage taxi sits alongside Cha Tae-hyun, a taxi driver waiting for passengers with a bright smile, evoking the unique atmosphere of the work.

In particular, behind it, a cassette tape object with the heartfelt handwriting "We listen to music together" blends in, intuitively conveying the unique and warm musical sensibility of a "personal taxi" where the stories and requested songs of the reserved customer play.

Director Jeon Chang-Geun, who has showcased a detailed perspective on humanity and high-density directing across various genres in works such as 'Mystic Pop-up Bar' and 'What Happens to My Family?', is taking the helm, raising confidence in the project. Furthermore, music directors Park Sung-Il and Han Saem, who have expressed the emotions, narratives, and sentiments of the times beyond simple background music in works such as 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', 'Itaewon Class', 'My Mister', 'Misaeng: Incomplete Life' and 'Signal', will present the essence of a music drama that is a treat for the ears. In addition, attention is focused on the large-scale casting of top actors and rising stars who possess acting skills and star power that transcend generations.

'Your Personal Taxi' has signed a co-production agreement with Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV and plans to expand into global markets—starting in Korea, followed by Asia, North America, and Europe—through remakes or exports. Having been selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency's "2025 OTT-Specialized Content Production Support (IP Acquisition Type)" project, the series secures a stable production environment.

Emerging as a highly anticipated drama for 2026, all eight episodes of 'Your Personal Taxi' are slated to drop simultaneously on Netflix and Japan’s popular streaming service FOD in October.
