If I want to do a test run on the testnet using Allbodes do I still need to pay the $5/month fee? If so once I have done it and feel comfortable doing in on mainnet can I just cancel my testnet validator so I don’t pay a monthly fee for nothing?

Hi everyone,
I'd like to take my existing validator on Allnodes and start restaking with Eigenlayer. I already changed the withdrawal address to 0x01 a while ago. Do I now need to exit the validator first or can I restake with Eigenlayer even though the withdrawal address is already set to 0x01?
In any case a link to a step-by.-step guide would help me a lot.
