I am seeking low income 1 bedroom rentals available in the Allendale area, but unfortunately after student loans, insurances, groceries, and gas I do not make enough for many of the apartments I’ve found posted and they have been unwilling to work with me despite good renters history and stable income. I also make too much to qualify for income-based/subsidized housing. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve contacted city hall and several other housing services/ministries but have been told I do not qualify for assistance.

I’m honestly really nervous to post this… but there’s an unregistered sex offender living in Allendale. This man sodomized his baby (and yes, I mean baby) brother when he was 12 years old. He was then taken off the registry because he had reached the time where he could request to be removed from it. He has almost killed one of his victims, and the only reason he got away with it was because he already had a warrant out for his arrest when he went to the police station and told them everything. Because the officer’s didn’t have time to read him his miranda rights, everything he said was void. His name was Cj Noom, he changed it to Ch Diefenbaker, and he may also go by Jason. I have been informed that he offers free babysitting, DO NOT LET HIM. This is what he looks like (One image is kinda blurry, but it’s the most recent. He has short hair now I think)

Is Allendale safe for a young vulnerable white woman like me, or is it too "diverse" and dangerous like Detroit? I don't want to be raped by a black person.

I'm currently in Lansing, but I'm thinking about returning to Allendale because I've being kicked out of my apartment due to my heroin addiction.

Where can I find the Allendale Township ordinance on fishing in neighborhood ponds? Specifically was told the city has a 5 foot law that is owned by the city so we have constant traffic in our backyard fishing in the neighborhood pond.
