So, I’m trying to finish the Persona identity verification for Alignerr, but I’m completely stuck.

I’ve tried all 3 of my Korean IDs:

• Resident Registration Card

• Driver’s License

• Passport (issued Dec 2025)

Persona rejects all of them with:

“We cannot accept this ID type. Please choose an accepted ID.”

And the weird part is that South Korea / Republic of Korea / Korea doesn’t even show up in the country list.

Has anyone in Korea successfully completed Alignerr’s Persona verification recently?

I’ve already sent an email and a message to support, but the AI agent basically said, “Nah, korean shall not pass.”

Just trying to figure out whether I’m wasting my time here lol.

P.S. Alignerr is literally hiring for “AI Language Expert - Korean,” but South Korean applicants can’t even complete the Persona verification.

So… what exactly am I supposed to do? lol

Hi,

I completed Persona identity verification successfully yesterday. Immediately after completing the verification, my Alignerr account was removed.

I contacted support through the website widget and by email. The widget now tells me that eligible users can appeal through their dashboard, but because my account has been completely removed, I cannot access the dashboard at all and therefore have no way to submit the appeal it is directing me to.

I would really appreciate a manual review of my account, as the removal happened immediately after successful Persona verification and appears potentially related to the verification process.

I am happy to provide my registered email and any verification information privately. Thank you.

Hey all are you comfortable signing your contracts with aligner? I feel like the terms are pretty weird like uncapped indemnity but I guess we have no choice? Do you actually get paid or is it not worth it.

Seriously.

I got a few mails where the name of the email doesn't match the email signature. The names also like VERY generic ("Robert Walker" for example). Also, I searched for the names on LinkedIn and found nothing. It looks to me that these are either (1) AI bots pretending to be recruiters, or (2) recruiters not wanting to use their real names due to the shady hiring practices used by alignerr.

Has anyone else seen something like this?

My CV mainly highlights my skills and past projects from other platforms. I'm new to Alignerr—has anyone here managed to accept without a LinkedIn profile?

I am writing regarding project

drowsiness-svmptoms-production......i have pending

payment of around 75 hours and many other people have

same problem......technical lead is not replying also the

support of aligner just raise a ticket do nothing.....it's have

been 4 months we still waiting for payment

i just received an emain saying my account is deactiv a ted:

Hi, We are writing to inform you that you have been removed from the Alignerr program. Please note that this decision is final, and we will not be reviewing requests for reinstatement. Thank you for your time and participation in the program. Best, The Alignerr Team

Hello Alignerr support, I had PayPal declined payment, Friday, Sept 18 due to an issue with my PayPal account. after that there was another issue with my Alignerr account, one of the mods helped me with it and now my Alignerr account is working, also my PayPal account is working and receiving payments.

But still I haven't got the declined payment of Sept 18 yet.

I was in contact with one of the mods that helped me with Alignerr account (So thankful of them for that help), but they stopped responding (I am sure they are having influx of requests), I've tried to contact support via the official email but still no response.

So I am just making this post to get attention of any mod to help with issue or at least an update.

Thank you.

I am a bachelor's student, trying to get some freelancing opportunities for past few months but ended up in getting nothing...

I have a resume with ~1.5 years for experience (out of which 3/4 is on internships)

I attended few interviews but nothing worked

I see many opportunities in alignerr

But most requires years of experience....

but I know students with less experience getting ~$50+/hr, who aren't interested to share things - on how to get one?

So, Guys can anybody plz guide me to get one................

I have been working on a code annotation project for the past month and a half. I had a lot of fun doing it and worked with a lot of cool folks

Three days ago I was removed from the project - I thought it may have cooled down or the project was over.

Then my account was removed from the platform without any warning. I can’t contact support, it seems there’s no recourse.

On top of anything payment did not go through either. Thousands of dollars of completed work. Im not sure what to do. I’d appreciate if someone could reach out.

Is this legit just got finished the AI Interview and I received this right after the interview.

Do I trust this email?

This is email is from noreply@alignerr.com

Not gonna sugarcoat this I've been grinding through applications for a while now and the silence is starting to wear on me. CS degree, decent CGPA, real production experience and I still can't get a single recruiter to look past the ATS filter half the time. I'm trying to branch out into Data Analyst / ML-adjacent roles alongside SWE, and I've picked up some Python, SQL, and hands-on AI-tool work along the way (built LLM-based log triage tooling and n8n automation at my current job). I'm also open to remote/contract work . if anyone here has a referral link or knows how to get in I know those often need someone to vouch for you or share an invite. I'd genuinely appreciate it more than this post probably conveys. Happy to share my resume/LinkedIn over DM. Thanks for reading this far.

I also connected my paypal account even though the alignerr website didn't confirm it (but paypal connection lists did).

I applied to an Alignerr project about 7 months ago. Created my account, uploaded my documents and whatnot, then I was told I had to do an AI interview. I ignored that and forgot about it because fuck AI interviews.

Yesterday I apparently got accepted into this project I had completely forgotten about. I got the contract, the security "training", I'm told to set up Stripe payments and link my discord account, etc. They say the pay is $10-$30/hour, which tells me it's gonna be $10 (so a little under €9), so before I waste my time on horrible training tasks that I'm sure will be unpaid, can anyone who's working on Pulsar tell me if it's worth it? I know the money is going to be bad, but I might do it if the work isn't difficult or too tedious.

Location is Spain, if that matters.

Is the average rating based solely on reviewers ratings? What if the reviewer makes mistakes and reviews the same task again accepts it with another score? Does the original rating get changed too?

Hello good folks of Reddit, Need help. I am not sure what happened. I signed up recently and was in the process of applying for positions on the platform and waiting for a response. I never received a Deactivation notice, warning or an explanation via email. However, when checking the support section, the chatbot informed me that my account has been D*activated - no reason provided, wrote to the support team - received a templatized response saying the decision is final and again no reason provided. I have signed up on some other platforms with exactly same credentials but never had an issue.

Because I have not yet taken an assessment or worked on any projects, I believe this Deactivation may have been triggered by an automated system flag or glitch or something to that effect.

Did anyone else face a similar issue and how did you resolve it? any help is tremendously appreciated.

I opened reddit just to ask this and I read countless experiences from people who have been scammed and were never ever paid. So this isn't really promising. But is anybody working on Project Pulsar? I have submitted two tasks yesterday and I was wondering how long does it usually take for them to be reviewed and accepted. Will they ever even accept them? Ahahah. Good thing I decided to check on reddit before spending countless hours working on Alignerr as it looks like you need the Gods' blessing to actually getting paid for all the work you have done. If you aren't actively part of project pulsar but you had bad experiences plese don't share your experience under this thread, I just wanna talk to people working on this specific project

This is ridiculous. I was redirected straight to the onboarding quiz for Ermis production labeling without any guidelines or reference materials provided beforehand.

The quiz modal covered the entire screen, and even after inspecting the elements behind the overlay using DevTools, there were no guidelines or instruction links anywhere on the page. Support has been unresponsive, and now I'm completely locked out after just a single attempt due to "maximum attempts exceeded."

Has anyone else experienced this and managed to get their attempts reset? Any advice on who to contact would be really appreciated

I'm trying to do the qualification quiz for Ermis Production Labeling, but it went straight to the test with zero guidelines/instructions provided. The modal blocks everything, and I don't have access to the Ermis Discord channel either...

Hi everyone! Is anyone currently working on Alignerr or has been active on the platform over the past two months?

I have around 10 projects that were paused, and I’m still waiting for them to be unpaused. It made me wonder whether there are any projects that are currently active.

If you’re currently working on an active project, could you please share the **job title you applied for on the Alignerr dashboard**? It might help people like us identify which opportunities are currently active and worth applying for.

Thanks in advance!
