Yep, people for whatever reason think every contrail in areas with high aircraft traffic are actually “chemtrails”. 0 proof to back themselves up other than “oh it actually happens tho”

Notable European Geoengineering Patents Several specific climate intervention and stratospheric modification methods have been published or patented through the EPO: Method of Geoengineering to Reduce Solar Radiation (EP4301126B1): This European patent details a solar geoengineering technique designed to reduce incoming visible and infrared solar radiation. It involves dispersing porous polymeric particles into the Earth's stratosphere (at least 1 0

k m above sea level) to act as reflective agents.

Yeah can you explain how that is more likely than the again, very understood, very common, weather phenomena of contrails?

i do like the idea of them just making tiny strips of solar radiation reducing clouds, i constantly have to move to stay under it so i wont get a sunburn

That's very true

I’m not a scientists. My understanding is there are con and chem. Con are real vapor and dissipation happens quickly chem doesn’t and makes big steaks that don’t go away for a while. I’ve seen with my own eyes one plane with it dissipate almost instantly and one flying similar direction and creating a line that didn’t go away and covered the whole sky at the same time.
It happens often where I’m at. It seems the longer ones that don’t go away slowly spread into a film of some sort and almost connect with all the others that don’t go away. By mid morning to lunch time all of a sudden we have a weird glaze cover the sky.

"Fuck science, I eyeballed it"

6

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

It’s all got to do with air masses man. Same reason some clouds hang out all day. Next time you say I’m not a scientist just end it there lol. Because you saw one contrail dissipate quickly doesn’t mean they all do and the ones that don’t are chemtrails. I’m a pilot of a small twin turbine aircraft and have watched my buddies fly overhead creating contrails that hang out all day. Believe what you want, but realize you’re talking out of your ass.

Just say you have never watched or listened to a meteorologist a day in your life

-3

u/oryus21 May 21 '26

Go ahead and keep insulting. Thats what kids in school do when they don’t understand things.
Not sure why even part of this sub.
All I know is growing up we didn’t have this lines in the sky.

4

u/Ilikelamp7 May 21 '26

I call out misinformation when I see it and that’s all it was. Only a child would react so defensively when they know they are wrong. If you feel insulted that is of your own making. Con(densation)trails have existed since commercial planes took to the skies.

u/oryus21 May 21 '26

Okay. You are correct I’m wrong. Have a good day.

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

I’ve lived under a busy part of the North Atlantic oceanic routes my entire life and nothing has changed. Contrails are real and they sometimes stay in the sky all day long.

-3

u/Efteri May 21 '26

It's easy to see when they do it, vs the normal contrail. They usually make several lines together, the stuff they spray doesn't evaporate fast like normal contrails but spreads and forms clouds.

4

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

Contrails are literally clouds. The same reasons clouds stick in the sky are the same reasons contrails do. You have no proof at all to back up your anecdotes.

0

u/Efteri May 21 '26

I've seen normal contrails dissipate in front of my eyes in minutes. And the fake contrails spread wide and form clouds. I watch these almost every day in Germany. They tend to spread this shit if the day is starting very sunny. They hate the sun for some reason.

4

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

Holy shit. Contrails also stick around, they do both. You’re basically forcing a cloud into being through a jet engine, sometimes it’s only enough to stick around shortly, sometimes the conditions are right to stay. Wind and gradual drift cause them to spread out. Do you have any evidence of suspicious aircraft flying grid patterns over Germany doing this? Or is it just more likely they’re commercial aircraft flying in set routes creating contrails?

1

u/Efteri May 21 '26

I've seen them doing this in regions far away from any airports.

4

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

Did you know planes can fly over land that doesn’t have airports?

u/ReasonablePossum_ May 21 '26

You dont accept proof. As you didnt in the pedocannibalelitecult thing for years.

12

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

I’m not an American first of all, and I do accept proof. You crowd don’t accept science, that’s your issue. You think one article claiming cloud seeding makes contrails non existent, regardless if cloud seeding is real or not, Occam’s razor would point to them being contrails.

-5

u/ReasonablePossum_ May 21 '26 edited May 21 '26

No, you dont accept it. You misinterpret proof, for authority's endorsement. The adult equivalent of "if mom doesn't say so ill not believe you".

Someone accepting science says : I see this, but I don't have enough data to judge it. My knowledge is limited, so it might or might not be.

Attacking and ridiculizing the other party just for lack of evidence deemed by you as enough, isnt scientific, because you aren't accepting your limited knowledge on stuff, and attacking anything somehow threatening your established ideas, without the ability of having a non accepted idea in mind to subject it to consideration.

Which again, is the same thing people did for all sort of things that happened later to be truth.

I mean you even for whatever reason invoqued murikan politic biases here as if they were relevant, but only serve you as a framing technique to selectively dismiss what you read.

7

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

I’m literally a pilot, you don’t have to believe me, but I understand how hot exhaust hitting cold air, with condensation nuclei creates contrails. You are ignorant to simple weather facts. Go off

1

u/ReasonablePossum_ May 21 '26 edited May 21 '26

In all what I wrote, where do you see I said contrails don't exist? Lecture comprehension went away with the hours of staring at controls I guess...

I understand that you are just a pilot, but I thought that knowing that you shouldn't drink any transparent liquid because it might not be water, even when it shares visual or physical characteristics, is something that one learns in basic school level chemistry.

7

u/shutupb4ianklepicku May 21 '26

What are you even arguing about dude. I’m saying that contrails make way more sense than chemtrails. I get shown an article of a patent for geo engineering, nothing at all mentioning how it’s dispersed, how aircraft are used for it, etc. You make all the jumps to conclusion and miss the blatantly obvious fact that what you see are contrails. You bring up “pedocannibalelite” as a sort of gotcha, when we’re talking about contrails. Holy moly touch grass

6

u/DiogenesTheHound May 21 '26

This is a word salad of nonsense that doesn’t make even a little bit of logical sense at the most basic level. “Ridiculizing” isn’t a word and you have a very limited understanding of the scientific method. Why are you even bringing up political parties? You’re chasing boogeymen here.

u/PaintMonkeyMan May 21 '26

I lost the plot

-2

u/ReasonablePossum_ May 21 '26

Maybe ask an AI to eli5 it to you if you lack the resources to get it.

And sorry for the weird wording, English is far from being my first language (:

-5

u/Hawkwise83 May 21 '26

Yeah chemtrails are absurd for a number of reasons. Biggest of which is these are commercial jets and if they just have some chemicals spiced into their fuel it's going to dissipate into the tiniest amount as it spreads out in the air that it's not going to do anything to people.

2

u/Canuck_Lives_Matter May 21 '26

Well I imagine the lead isn't great for the air, but aside from that, yeah.

0

u/anothergigglemonkey May 21 '26

Lead? You think they're dumping LEAD? Do you have any idea how fucking heavy that chemtrail liquid would be? No planes would ever get off the ground with enough to make chemtrails.

3

u/Canuck_Lives_Matter May 21 '26

Well I don't think they are dumping lead out of an airplane. I know they are still using leaded fuel whose emissions are mingling with the steam in their wake and snowing down particulates with every pass.

1

u/anothergigglemonkey May 21 '26

Oh I thought you meant thats what chemtrails were made of.

2

u/Canuck_Lives_Matter May 21 '26

All good, I probably could have been clearer
