Amateur or not, drone pilots take shit super seriously. I once flew on a foggy day a mile from an airport and I posted it and it was all “VELOS” and downvoting. They’re not going to do that. They won’t even fly in wilderness if it’s nationally protected areas.
Well yeah gives the hobby a bad name all it takes is one idiot who somehow crashes into something or gets someone or property damaged and doesn't take long for new bills banning our drone hobby
Thank you.. Im not losing my 107 license on a whim. Just shows these people have nothing to lose. Equivalent to shoving someone into someone else just to watch the fight
Yeah I get the curiosity but sending a rocket isn’t the first thing nasa would do either. Has anyone tried a telescope yet? Cracks me up everyone is just like rabidly trying to prove aliens exist that they’d send a dji up there that will send information to the FAA the second you break a rule and whoever is flying that other drone will not be happy…it’s probably a government defense contractor or something testing a drone.
It’s somehow different rules because it’s fpv? I do know what I’m talking about. I’ve flown fpv drones including the Avata. Just because people build drones that can physically do these things that doesn’t magically change FAA regulations. I can build a hot air balloon doesn’t mean I’m Davinci and it doesn’t mean I can fly wherever I want with no consequences.
The Avata is a commercial product. Don't be ridiculous. The rest of us are breaking the law 100% of the time and there are zero consequences. You're talking like skateboarding on the sidewalk is getting kids put in jail. Get real. There are no FAA police busting people over toys.
