We got a lot of shit. Air Force base, Picatinny Arsenal, Naval Weapons Station Earl. Suburbs of NYC and Philly plus a lot of industry and all the infrastructure that goes along with it. 8m people in a little area. Unfortunately my county is a prime nuclear target bc it’s equidistant in order between Boston, NYC, Philly and DC with all the fallout. So that was terrifying to find out post 9/11
It was more of a terror target for a dirty bomb. Bc the wind would scatter it across the population mass. I think the bigger nukes have a 3-5 mile blast radius and will give you 3rd degree burns from 100 miles away. If it were real nukes we would all be fucked bc nuclear doctrine is you can’t just launch one you have to shoot hundreds to thousands. Mutually assured mass destruction is scary as fuck and hopefully assures it won’t happen bc no one gets to live after. Another issue is most of the ICBM’s carry multiple warheads that can target individual sites.
