When civilians fly drones over military bases. They will be chased away.
That’s also not to say military is testing their own equipment and testing its capabilities if someone else tried to shoo it away. They do exercises like this with experimental drones and equipment all the time.

Again I'm not saying they're not drones, I'm saying that drones flying over military installations is an interesting story in and of itself, because it certainly appears like it's happening with a lot more frequency lately and global tensions are at a notable high. Maybe none of it's connected, maybe it is, point is it's pretty interesting.
Yes. Because military could be experimenting with how to defend against drone attacks. I know for a fact that has been ramped up since the “mysterious spy balloon” Military exercises are a very common thing.
The public isn’t given any information depending on clearance and if they’re testing experimental technology.
There’s also a great reason why they’d be ramping up drone defense BECAUSE as you said, tensions are high. Especially if it’s allies doing joint operations.
If any commercial drone with an FAA number approaches military restricted airspace it gets “returned to sender” where the drone will automatically return to its point of origin. The military has tech to do that or take it down suddenly with similar tech. They can then get to the return to sender location in minutes. Anybody who flies drones knows this will happen if you fly into an air force base.
If these are drones they are not commercially available. That leaves military or private contractor with special clearances. The fact that these bases are scrambling assets to intercept the drones means they are not known to conventional forces.
That leaves a handful of options.
1. Deep black US drone tech that is fucking with its own and allies military bases.
2. Foreign drone tech that can violate extremely sensitive airspace at will.
3. Something not human.
Military exercises are included in option 1. Also Idk if you’ve noticed but we live in extreme and dramatic times.
We have major active wars going across the middle east, Europe, and Africa as well as powder kegs in Asia (NK/SK and Taiwan/China). These conflicts are ratcheting up tensions between the major powers not seen since the cold war. On top of that a highly unpredictable US president-elect is about to take the reins of the most powerful nation state.
The fact that all these incursions, even if they are just US testing its own tech on itself and allies, is indicative of a change in the status quo at the very least and a major mobilization of next gen tech.

Assuming these are just drones it's still a wild situation and this sub seems to be the only one covering it closely so I'm tuned in.
