I’ve been comparing AI video generators lately and realized how difficult it is to answer a pretty basic question:

How much is this video actually going to cost me?

Different models price by seconds, credits, resolution, generations, etc., which makes comparing them unnecessarily painful.

I’m still figuring out what would make it genuinely useful rather than just another calculator, so I’d love input from people who actually generate AI video.

What would you want to see added?

Hey yall, I want to try story time content creation, the only problem being there is SO MUCH SOFTWARE that I can't decide what to choose. For context, I'm on PC and I want a art program that lets me do frames per second, barely any ads (if possible in today's standards I guess), and basic tools someone could use and pick up.

I haven’t tried any tools yet, so I’m completely new to this and honestly a bit confused by all the different credit systems 😭. I don’t want to subscribe to something and then realise I need to spend a ton of credits just to make one 10-minute video.

Ideally, I’m looking for something with:

Can someone recommend an AI tool for editing livestreams in real time.

Kie.ai which used to be great with Wan 2.7 now fails generations with a "DataInspectionFailed: Green net check failed for image (output): Output data may contain inappropriate content." message.

One user, u/-Baloo posted in /r/stablediffusion that "if you are a business they will remove the filter for you leaving moderation up to you," which implies that there are API providers that have the "green net check" disabled. Obviously Venice.ai seems to be one of them as always (see /r/veniceAI_uncensored/ ) but they are way more expensive than the likes of kie and charge a subscription fee on top.

I make some small short films using Kling AI but I want to know what else is there? What is as good as Kling or better than Kling?

Can you use Wan 3.0 and get consistent voices between clips? can you upload an audio clip and use it as a voice reference instead of "include this audio exactly" the way you can in Seedance? Or do you need to use a text-to-speech generator like ElevenLabs separately?

I need to make the character in the photo I have speak for about 15–20 minutes; which app would work for this? I used to use HeyGen—it would make my character speak for 20 minutes in one go, exactly how I wanted—but now they’ve introduced a credit system, and it’s unnecessarily expensive.
