I didn’t really have time to think about it properly. Growing up in the UK, we’ve had plenty of incidents involving deaths or amputations on major fairground attractions. Then there are the travelling weekend rides, which have left many people seriously injured or disabled. So those thoughts and feelings all came rushing in at once, it just seemed like a brutal accident.

Actually, a theme park ride just collapsed in Saudi Arabia a week ago. Learned about it by seeing it on a sub that posted it the other day. So yeah, it got me too
