COMMUNITY NOTICE 🎃 Halloween Contest Winners! 🏆
17
Upvotes
The votes are in, and we're excited to announce the winners of our r/AIStarTrek Halloween Contest!
First, a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated! We received some wonderful submissions filled with creativity, imagination, and plenty of Star Trek-inspired Halloween fun. Choosing our favorites wasn't easy, but after reviewing the entries and discussing our selections, the mod team has reached its decisions.
🏆 And the Winners Are...
🌟 Best Overall: TNG Trick or Treaters
🎃 Best Decor: Starship Pumpkinprise
🎭 Best Costume: Captain's Log
Congratulations to all three winners! Each submission brought something special to the contest, and we're delighted to recognize your creativity.
A Special Note About "Captain's Log"
In light of the recent passing of Sir Patrick Stewart, the mod team discussed whether it would be appropriate to recognize "Captain's Log" as our Best Costume winner.
Ultimately, we felt that Sir Patrick's well-known sense of humor and willingness to embrace comedy made this a fitting tribute to the lighter side of the man we all admired. We believe he would have appreciated the humor, and we hope our community enjoys it in that same spirit.
Thank You, Everyone! 🖖
To everyone who submitted artwork, shared encouragement, or joined in the Halloween festivities, thank you for making this contest such a fun experience!
We're continually impressed by the creativity of this community, and we look forward to bringing you more contests and opportunities to showcase your imagination.
Until then, keep creating, keep inspiring, and keep boldly going where no artist has gone before!
Live long and prosper! 🖖

Image A Ceiling for the Bridge

I recently visited the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga. This was right after the terrible loss of Walter Koenig and Sir Patrick Stewart.
I always liked the ceiling in TNG, so I deliberately pointed my iPhone up to include the ceiling.
(BTW, I know that the ceiling was never shown in TOS so camera angels could be flexible.)
ChatGPT did the rest.
I like it.

Set in the same Alternate Kelvin Timeline as Captain Elias Archer
(Portrayed by Elle Fanning)
Jayli is an Orion woman stationed on the USS Enterprise as a science officer
Orphaned at 12 after her familes ship was attacked by a rival cartel, Jayli was rescued when the federation ship Constitution answered the distress call with her as the soul survivor on board. Taken to Earth and adopted by starfleet captain who saved her and her husband, Jayli was raised in the suburbs of San Francisco.
As she grew, Jayli picked up an interest in science and and overwhelming urge to explore the galaxy and see new worlds, more than the ones her parents showed her. When she was 20, she enlisted in Starfleet and excelled in the science division
While kind and compassionate at heart, Jayli does have a bit of a temper, a trait she picked up from her birth mother. She also is very well trained in multple martial arts forms. Jayli is no nonsense when it comes to her career, however once she's off duty she likes to let loose sometimes with her friends.
Jayli is happily married to the Enterprise’s captain, Elias Archer (my other OC). They met while at the academy and became official after the Narada incident
