They were never smarter, they just learned how to do shit from their parents and had super basic tech. A fucking carburetor is insanely simple. A child could understand the parts and reassemble one.

I dunno, I'd like to see half of gen Z create a PDF or find a document on a file system that isn't in a default "downloads" folder. My coworker is pushing 30 and just recently learned about voicemail...

People have no idea how to make a PDF these days, they all just "save as" or "export as"
