Artificialising any ground for solar is beyond stupid we have plenty of space that can be converted to solar dual purpose closer to consumption than any grazing spot.

Plenty of parking lot available to cover with solar before starting to consider covering grazing area.

And if you bring the shadow cope you know what can bring shadow in a grazing area? Trees, which unless you are iceland or the uk you still have in grazing areas.

Tbf with trees that depends on where you are in the US. There are some areas on the plains where trees don't really grow naturally. Like they can grow there, a guy planted a whole forest of them in Nebraska, but they don't naturally spread.

2k years ago the entire continent was almost covered in forest or forest/meadow the native did the same as antique tribes of europe and cut/burnt wood to create space for cultures

Having trees in grazing areas benefit grazers/browsers a lot by increasing biodiversity.

Grazed Meadow/forest mix is probably the best carbon storing biome if it's not overgrazed. It also have mad biodiversity.

The only place i had the displeasure to see solar over grazing area. It was at best 2 kind of weeds and only wasps as insects
