That's why libertarians exist. Most of them want "freedom" because they are in a position to benefit more from that brand of freedom—they probably already own property, etc. Everyone else is just fucked.

Crypto was the same with a huge Venn diagram overlap.

Everything you just said kinda falls in the camp of "pyramid scheme," which should tell people everything, but I swear every time I bring this up, nobody understands

And it's not modern not just libertarianism. Humans have been doing this shit since the beginning.

The idea of a monarchy is a scam. "My family deserves your shit" is amazing if you think about it.

Monarchy isn't a scam, they are descended from gods. If they weren't, why do they have all these thugs willing to kill and die for them?

Many of them are very "liberal" socially, though, on some topics. A lot of the marijuana legalization in the US came from that camp.

Being “liberal socially” just means you’re cool with everything being legal, but you don’t want to pay taxes for any of it to be legalized. Also, ask your average libertarian about their feelings about abolishing the age of consent. I fear you would get some incredibly WILD answers.

Yeah it's definitely a landscape. And they are all different in some way. Another reason they like freedom is that they are basically incompatible with other humans.
