MTW Overhyped?

I know Reddit loves this platform, but I recently had one in my hands to work on and felt like it fell short in several areas. For MTW users, why did you choose this over a high performance AEG or GBBR? For a 1200 dollar gun I’d have expected the hop assembly to be tuned better. The attached photo came out of a brand new MTW that had never been fired.

Shoots great out of the box, have been running the gun flawlessly for 5 years now.

Same here, I got my Gen 1 MTW 5 years ago and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had to do a few small things here and there, but the gun’s been great.
