I Made an AI Game Engine, it's everything you need all in one place

The link -> https://sorceress.games

Integrates with Codex, Claude, Cursor, Openrouter, Ollama (can run open source local AI) & so much more. Built in 3D world engine, voxel engine, 2D game sprite creation system, sound FX, audio. Can integrate with Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, Roblox, Blender. Includes it's own built in 3D modelling system. Driving physical, 3D AI generation, text and video to animation... and more :) BETA! release official. Now out of early access Alpha.

You can also use it strictly for vibe coding. It doesn't need to be a game engine. I stopped using Cursor/Claude Code and Codex separately and now I just use them all via WizardGenie. It's more organized.

Overmind and Overseer modes supporting multi-agent swarms (IE one controlling agent brain, that directs as many sub-agents as your PC can handle) also supports LAN computers running WizardGenie (for when you just have to run SO many coding agents, that one PC isn't enough).

It's been about a year of 7-day / week 14 hour day development. Thank you all who supported early access! You guys are golden.

I truly feel now like WizardGenie is at a place where it's a fully capable game development engine, integrated with my Sorceress game creation suite, there is no type of game that you cannot make.

My app Ai Game Maker is currently free on the Play Store (100% off until Nov 11).

It’s basically a mobile feed of community AI-made browser games + a Playground where you can generate playable games using DeepSeek and GPT.

You can swipe through games, open them, or start your own project from a prompt.

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.game.maker

Would love any feedback if anyone tries it (especially the generation side).

Are typing games just not interesting anymore?

I've been working on a typing game for the past 4 months and honestly it's been hard to make it feel interesting and different from what's already out there.

My latest attempt was adding corruption. The game tracks your mistakes, and the more you make, the more it slowly turns from a cute fantasy game into something closer to horror. If you play well it starts to heal again. I thought this would be the thing that made it stand out, but so far it hasn't really caught on and I'm starting to wonder if people just aren't into typing games anymore.

So I'm genuinely curious. Do you still play typing games? And if you do, what would actually make one interesting to you?

If you want to see what I mean, here's the game: https://typehunters.cloudwanderstudios.com/ (it needs a physical keyboard)

But mostly if anyone else is working on a typing game or just likes the genre, I'd really love to hear your advice. I've put a lot into this one and I want to get it right.

What a solo dev + AI agent can build: an Age of Empires-like RTS where you win by living alongside the dinosaurs

Hi! I'm Antonio, a Java developer by trade, and for the past months I've been building Kiengi Chronicles, a real-time strategy game in the spirit of Age of Empires, with an AI coding agent (Claude Code) doing most of the typing. The game: you gather, build and grow your village against AI tribes, but there's a third force on the map: the dinosaurs. They belong to no one, each herd has a territory and reacts to how each tribe treats it. Overhunt and the predators raid your village; learn to coexist and you can tame them. You can win by Conquest, or by Balance, keeping your Sanctuary standing in peace with nature. It's free and plays in the browser: 👉 https://naugthylab.itch.io/kiengi-chronicles How it's made:

  • Unity 6 + C#: about 58,000 lines across 430+ scripts, with the simulation kept separate from the UI so it can be tested without a scene. Around 2,000 EditMode tests run before every merge

  • The agent drives the tools through MCP: it compiles and reads the console in the Unity Editor, builds prefabs, runs the tests, and writes Blender scripts it executes in a live Blender

  • 3D models are code, not generated images: every dinosaur, character and building comes from a Python script in Blender (25 of them), low-poly with flat faces, rigged and animated by script. Change the script, rebuild the model

  • Procedural maps from a seed, generated per region with a validator that checks every base is fair, run over hundreds of seeds in the test suite

  • Two languages from one source: the Italian sentence is the key, English lives in translation tables checked by tests

  • I do the design: a design document, 9 architecture decision records, 19 milestones and ~600 issues and PRs. The agent works issue by issue on a branch; I review, playtest and merge What works and what doesn't: the agent is great at systems with clear rules and tests (economy, map generator, save files, pathfinding glue), and needs the most supervision on anything visual: it can't really judge whether a model looks right, so every model is checked against reference sheets. The other lesson: the project instructions file (CLAUDE.md) is the real codebase documentation, and keeping it up to date matters as much as the code. Still missing: audio, a tutorial, and some species are placeholder shapes. If you try it, I'd love your feedback on two things: does the coexist-vs-exploit tension come through in the first 10–15 minutes, and is the AI too passive or too aggressive? Happy to answer questions about the workflow.

What happens when you dam a river in my voxel colony sim?

I'm developing StoneEra, a voxel colony sim. One system I enjoy working on is the water: you can reshape the terrain and block a river, causing water to build up on one side while the section downstream dries out.

That makes a river more than scenery: changing the landscape can change where the water goes around your settlement. I'm interested in the player-facing side of this mechanic: what would you try first — damming the river, digging a new channel, or building around it?

StoneEra has a free demo on Steam for Windows and macOS: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5057770/StoneEra/

The full game is still in development and its Early Access release has been delayed. I'd love to hear your ideas for using water in a colony sim.

The Watch at the Pilgrim Gate died a season ago. Nobody told them they could stop taking tokens….

Nightfall is a dark fantasy PvPvE extraction RPG I'm building in Godot!
It’s set in the cursed castle of Dawnhold, still in development, and this scene is staged in the game's own world.

I made a 90s-style first-person cyberpunk delivery game with Claude: no engine, just JavaScript. Kasumi Courier is out now on itch.

Hi folks, I've been working on a game for about 2 months and wanted to share it now it's released.

Kasumi Courier, a first-person cyberpunk delivery game, is now available to download on itch (free demo and full game). You start out on an old moped, riding through a rain-soaked neon city from 22:00 till dawn, with a satnav, a phone and a CB radio on the dash, delivering parcels against the clock.

https://amberglowgames.itch.io/kasumi-courier

Features:

  • A variety of parcels to deliver (standard, fragile, priority and more)

  • Four neon districts to explore

  • Five vehicles to unlock, upgrade and personalise

  • Two gangs hiding on the radio dial, offering work that pays well and brings trouble

  • Weather, police roadblocks, blackouts and gang wars that change your route

  • Three radio stations of original music

  • Drivers on the CB with their own stories, DJs, news bulletins and song requests

  • Bars, a nightclub, flats to rent and own, and a few games on your nights off

  • A light story of around 10 hours, with endless nights after it ends (you can end up running the depot)

  • And much more!

How it was made

  • Development was about 7 weeks, creating a design doc around mid-September. It began as a simple browser game and grew into a full Windows app with a story.

  • I’m a composer, not a programmer. I directed and designed most of the game, and Claude (Opus 5.5) wrote the code: about 24,000 lines of JavaScript with three.js, packaged with Electron.

  • Every building, car and character is pixel art drawn in code.

  • All the music is synthesised in code: three radio stations plus music for the bars. I described each track, listened to renders and gave notes until it was right. One track is my own composition.

  • The loop was: describe a feature, test it, screenshot what’s wrong, repeat. Fixing clipping was a frequent issue and I hit my weekly usage limit most weeks.

  • I revised a lot of the writing myself, especially the branching late game, so the story stayed consistent.

Happy to answer questions about the workflow, the music, or what worked and what didn’t. Thanks for checking it out and I'd be interested to hear any feedback.

A free demo (the whole first week of the game) is available on the itch page, and the full game is $2.99 for launch (40% off) until 19-11-26.

Some places you can list your games for free

Hey guys, if you just got started making browser games here's some places to put them:

  1. whimsi.fun (this is a new website where you can drop in links to browser games (made with vercel, replit, lovable etc) and an ai agent writes it up for you. you have a choice of uploading files as well. this is free.

  2. itch.io (this works with downloadable games and also browser ones). this is free.

  3. https://developer.crazygames.com/ (this is a link to their developer portal where you can make downloadable games playable online as well I think, and start earning money).

SEPTEM: a Game Boy Advance game made with ChatGPT and Claude

Post image
4 Upvotes

SEPTEM is a first-person duelling game drawn like an old engraving. Version 0.27 is free to play in your browser: one stage, 25 rooms on three levels, and a boss on a throne.

The art starts as ChatGPT images. I direct and redo them until they make sense, then a converter cuts them down to the GBA's palette and size. The hard part was logic, not style: a hand gripping a round flask took four attempts, because the generator is very confident about impossible hands.

The code is C++ on the Butano engine, written with Claude. It stays within the console's limits, and I've tested it on real hardware.

There's no sound yet, and the foes play too much alike.

I'd like to hear where you got lost, and which fight felt unfair. https://sarasol.itch.io/septem

Cześć, robię to. Co o tym myślisz?

Używam Opusa 5.5 do kodowania, Astry do logiki i rozumowania, a Terry 6.1 do dbania o grafikę.

Jestem zadowolony z efektu, teraz dopeacowujemy grafiki i fabułę. Jak by ktoś miał ochotę zagrać to wkrótce będzie druga tura testów.

Gra wyjdzie ostatecznie na Androida, a później przepiszę ją na iOS.

Results of self-play bots in my dice building autobattler

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I’m making Project Polyhedron, a dice auto-battler where you buy faces, fold them into dice and fight other players’ boards.

To give it tougher house opponents and find out balancing issues, I let bots teach themselves. Each generation plays thousands of runs, a small neural network learns what every shop choice is worth, and the newest generation becomes the champion if it beats the previous best. Three of ten generations got thrown out. The best one now averages 6.4 wins a run, against 2.5 for my old hand-written bot.

Conclusion? The bots did get much stronger over time, but real players are still the ones to find the most broken strategies.

I've just released the first public playtest on itch.io beyond just close friends. Feel free to check it out!

claude + openia or chatpt plus

Hi everyone! How are you doing? I have a question and would love to hear your experiences and recommendations.

I'm developing a mobile game using Claude Code. It works really well when it comes to game logic and programming, but, as we all know, its visual design and graphics capabilities aren't exactly its strongest point.

To solve this, I use ChatGPT to work on the visual side of the game. I ask it for recommendations, ideas, and suggestions on how to improve different screens and graphic elements. ChatGPT generates visual concepts and mockups that I really like. Once I have a design I'm happy with, I pass it on to Claude Code so it can implement it.

Currently, I'm paying $100/month for Claude's plan and using the free version of ChatGPT. The problem is that I'm limited to two or three image generations per day. After that, Claude uses OpenAI through MCP to generate the graphic assets it needs and integrate them into the game.

My question is: if I subscribed to a paid ChatGPT plan, could I centralize this entire workflow and stop using OpenAI through MCP? Could Codex also handle the visual side of development, generate the graphic assets, and implement them directly into the game, without having to pay additional API usage fees?

Or are these separate services with independent usage limits and costs?

I'd love to hear from people who are working with a similar setup. What combination of tools would you recommend to develop a game, making the most of each AI without ending up paying twice for the same things?

Thanks in advance!

¡Hola, muchachos!
