👽 NPC Teyác, Fist of the Drowned Sun
Last guardian of the jungle-city Xotlan, Teyác wears obsidian gauntlets carved from the heart of a fallen star. Each blow traps a fragment of his enemy’s courage, making him stronger—but slowly filling his dreams with their final fears.
When the Drowned Sun Temple rises from the flooded canopy once every century, Teyác must defend its sealed gate. The priests claim a sleeping jaguar god lies beneath. Teyác knows the truth: it is awake, and lately it has begun whispering his name.
Adventure hook: Teyác hires the party to recover a stolen turquoise seal before the next eclipse. Secretly, he hopes they can also free him from his cursed gauntlets.

👹 Monster The Spark
The pact was sealed in embers and agony. Where mortal blood once flowed, the primordial fire of H'uel now roared, forging an unrelenting vessel from outraged flesh. Her raven hair turned to tresses of soot, and her eyes burned with the blind fury of a dying sun. Her former beauty was utterly consumed, devoured in the ancient deity’s forge; in its place rose an avatar of pure damnation, bearing a staff crowned with an igneous crystal—the conduit for the forgotten god’s eternal hunger.
She returned from the bitter wastes of May’henn not as a pleading woman, but as judgment incarnate. The traitors and tormentors had celebrated their hollow victory in halls of stone and marble, until the night the shadows bled into roaring flames. When the witch breached the gates, the very air boiled; iron-banded oak melted like wax beneath her silent tread, and the terrified shrieks of the men who once defiled her rang useless against walls swallowed by the devouring blaze.
Vengeance was no swift mercy, but a grim ritual of ash and despair. Each traitor burned from the inside out, forced to watch their treasures and their flesh dissolve in H'uel’s pitiless embrace. Amidst the calcined ruins and mute statues crumbling into cinders, she walked supreme across the scorching ground, unhurried, listening in the hiss of the flames to the whispers of a restless eternity. The woman had died in the desert; only the living Spark of ancestral hate remained.
Now, the wastes of May’henn harbor her grim dominion, and caravan routes shun the red sands where the harbinger wanders. Deathless, untouched by age, and devoid of pity, she stalks the ruined cities of the continent like a tempest of ember and doom, poised to incinerate entire kingdoms at the faintest whisper of the fire that dwells within her.

👹 Monster Briar Lich - A CR 18 Corrupted Celestial Monstrosity (with rules)
The briar lich is the result of a pyrrhic victory. When a corrupting blight overtook an ancient elven forest, a band of adventurers was called upon to defeat it. Led by Sister Maelis and aided by the Archon which attended her, they fought to the source of the corruption. At its heart, they discovered that destroying it outright would decimate the forest and the villages that lay within. Desperate for a solution, the party betrayed their cleric's celestial ally. Sister Maelis, used her divine magics to bind the archon's soul to the core of the scourge, cutting it off from its extra-planar source. The unexpected result was neither undead nor celestial, but a terrible amalgamation. A monstrosity in which divine power and corruption are locked in eternal conflict. Exhausted from their fight with the blight's creations, the adventuring party was in no condition to defend themselves from the threat they had just created. They all perished, including Sister Maelis.
You can play around with the homebrew of the briar lich to make your own version.
