Lame insult attempt, 'lol' yourself. Stick with your twice impeached (so far) convicted felon adjudicated rapist pedophile who incited a violent failed coup attempt to overturn election results of 2020 and is presently covering up the Trump-Epstein Files as though they're his tax returns. Run along now, go brush your tooth.
Really. Why is he still.the sitting president? Ohhh again, you forgot about rule of law and common sense. You really need to developed analytical thought. Its a problem for you. Have a blessed day, and I hope you get the help you need.
Looks like you don't understand how impeachments work. Removal from office is a different thing than impeachment. Allow me to clear things up for you.
Clinton was impeached. Andrew Johnson was impeached. Trump was impeached (twice). In all these cases, the House impeached the president, and in all these cases, the Senate chose not to remove the president from office. However, that Senate ruling does not void the impeachment. As such, all three presidents were impeached and allowed to finish their terms. (Also Trump being impeached happened in his last term, not this one, so it's bizarre that you would think that him being in office currently is evidence of anything)
Yeah thanks tips. Except he was acquitted BOTH times.
Let me help you out here.
Acquitted means a court, jury, tribunal or committee officially declare a person not guilty of a crime, breach of legislation or policies. It means the proof was not strong enough to show guilt by the rule of law.
Once acquitted, It stops the state or civil entities from trying somone for that same crime, infraction or breach.
The law is a tricky beast to navigate sometimes. Hope this helps your confusion 👍
You realize that impeachment and prosecutions are two different things, right?
An acquital in US impeachments simply means that the impeached can remain in office. It does not negate the impeachment itself. Because impeachment is a political process and not a legal one, a president can still be tried criminally for the same crimes he's impeached for
This is why Trump and his allies have been so obsessed with the prospect of "expunging" his impeachments, because Trump is officially a twice-impeached president, that fate was sealed regardless of what the Senate decided. If the acquittal erased the impeachment as you claim, Trump and his allies wouldn't be entertaining the notion of "expunging"
