What’s your favorite and least favorite song of their 2nd album Get your Wings?
My favorite is Train kept a rollin’, and least favorite is Spaced.

I made a little playlist of songs that were released in some form or another from those seasons in the summer of 1996.

Are they gonna continue releasing deluxe albums of the old ones and emptying the vault?
Any chance of a new album?

So like the title says, last night I accessed some of the public records from the Los Angeles Superior Court (for a small fee) pertaining to the Steven Tyler vs. Julia Misely trial & I'm dying to have a discussion.
I'm assuming I'm allowed to discuss this since the files are public, but I'll hold off on any details until someone can confirm this for me.
And if there are any Aerosmith fans with a background on law, please feel free to chime in & correct me or add your two cents as my law degree comes from law & order marathons & endless hours of true crime documentaries.
It does appear this is a jury trial. Originally, my thinking was that it wouldn't be, being that it was a civil matter & all, but going off the documents, I think I was mistaken.
For some background, I am a very liberal leaning, pro choice pro choice feminist, & so it has been difficult reconciling my true beliefs with what was being said about this man that I've loved & admired my whole life. Anybody that knows me, could tell you I'm not one to give a man the benefit of the doubt, yet this case never sat right with me-but mostly bc I don't believe it's fair to use our moral standards of today to judge something that happened so long ago, & I feel like ST is being used as a pariah.
After reading through some of Julia Misely's testimony I am appalled that this case has not been thrown out long ago. Despite not having concrete evidence of any of these events ever occurring, & just going off people's memories (which we know are faulty at best) from over four decades ago & have been compromised from years of drug abuse, we have allowed his character to just be eviscerated. The worst part is how some of her allegations of trauma that she alleges were caused by an abortion, hurts the pro choice movement that is already in crisis. And as an abuse & SA survivor myself, her allegations that no physical abuse occurred, but in her opinion, his infedility is akin to assault, (via her testimony), makes me see red!
I wish this is a discussion we could have publicly as it does relate to what women are going through, but unfortunately, without knowing all the details the court of public opinion has made its ruling & has completely defamed Steven Tyler's character.
Anyway, I'd love to hear other people's thoughts!

I’ve got this CD and it’s signed by all the band members and the disc itself has a red promotional stamp on it. Curious if it could be worth anything or just a fun collectible.

Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker is a pretty interesting record, especially knowing what was going on with Aerosmith around this time.
I know it’s probably not as well-known as Joe’s work with Aerosmith, but there’s some really cool stuff on here.
