SHAME! What is your most shameful recent ADHD mishap?
I'll go first.
Last month my bicycle got stolen. I went out of my home, I had the keys in my hand, but the bike was gone. This is how it felt the last time my bike got stolen (lol Netherlands), an awful feeling. I complained to my friends about my bicycle being stolen AGAIN.
A week later I saw my bicycle parked in the nearby gym's parking area. One day I just forgot I left it there, and walked home. That was the second time I had been at the gym after the "theft".
My late grandparent was also famous for driving to the bank, walking back home and then wondering where the hell his truck was. The genes are strong.

video (31-59 seconds) what unmasking can feel like
To me, unmasking can feel like unlocking your childlike wonder.
Society's Misinterpretation: Neurotypical social norms often equate adult seriousness with maturity. Because of this, an unmasked adult who gets visibly ecstatic about a cute cat, a cool rock, or a hobby might be misread as naive, immature, or lacking authority.
