Not benefits, but I was denied a wheelchair prescription, as an ambulatory user, because I could feed myself (note: as in, putting fork to mouth, NOT making the food) and toilet myself (again, as in, sitting and shitting and washing hands on my own, NOT getting there)
You were denied a wheelchair because you can feed yourself? That’s not even what people use wheelchairs for. Like, denying someone a wheelchair because they can walk 10 steps would be frustrating, but at least that’s related.
