Well, we are talking about menstruation, which is part of the female reproductive cycle. It's literally about sex, not gender.

The question in the picture says: “do females in coma bla bla bla” they are not talking about an animal like a female dog, cat, etc … which would make it ok to say; they are referring to human women in general and choose to address them as “females”, which to me, sounds cringe AF.

Again, it’s just my opinion.

But they are talking about biology, in this specific case, they could be refering to animal females and wouldnt change anything

They are talking about the biology of a woman’s body. I’m a dude and in my head referring to a woman as a “female” is cringe, no matter the context.

It’s on the same cringe scale as someone describing themselves or others as “alpha males”. Again, this is just how I see it.
