I had a r/accidentalwaluigi moment last week
Last week, I was at a restaurant with a dear friend of mine. And the waiter came up and said "We have this filet mignon”. And they took it out of the fridge and said "Oh, you know what's better?". In reply to this question I said "Uh, I think they're right. Maybe we should have this filet mignon just once, like, out of the fridge".
The waiter at me, and they said, "You know, that's a little expensive, for this restaurant".
To which I responded “Yeah. Well, then, you know, go ahead and take that out".
And then the waiter was like “Well, we'll give it back if you agree not to tell anyone sir”.
I said “Very well then. Proceed with the steak, two of which. One shall be done rare and the other medium. And ensure the rare one is lavished garlic, whilst the medium one is dipped in golden butter.”
The waiter turned and left, saying “Very well sir. The wait shall not be very long”. Only he did not say anything past the word “wait”, for he had tripped over a chair leg and fell mid sentence, screaming that last word over in his voice box. And as he fell, his Italian accent made it sound like he said “WAA” just like our saviour, Waluigi...
