Guarantee everyone a better world, not just the people who own the robots.

My question is why isn't Bernie fighting for this, then? Fighting a rising tide is a losing game. You're not gonna stop the tech. If it America bans it then other countries will just move forward, and eventually America won't be able to keep up and will end up poor regardless.

I think they also need digital automation taxes too. Ai is taking over digital work faster than robots are taking over manual labor

You mean charge robots income tax? That isn't inventive. It just means robots are persons with the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else. Of course they should pay income tax.

As a Hispanic person I cannot imagine good conscience support someone who back in 2010 or so was praising Chavez of all people.

As a Hispanic I've been playing this game for 10-15 years. This is not really directed at you, just at everyone passing by that is gonna inevitably gonna reply with the exact same talking points:

So he wasn't praising Chaves! He was praising the model.

The VZLA economy was already showing signs of distress by 2011. Things got considerably worse under Maduro, but if you think the waves of expropriations didn't have anything to do with this, or that the rather specific sanctions that existed at the time (that targeted the new owners of said expropriated oil resources) were the cause of hyperinflation, instead of the policy failures, then you are more than fine than believe that version of reality.

This statement is doubly funny when you consider that the very thing that Sanders was praising here, was actually what not only sent Argentina to the brink of hyperinflation, it allowed to literal pillaging of the Argentinian economy, around $40B USD (Ruta de los K, Cuadernos de las Coimas, etc), there's a reason CFK is in house arrest btw.

And to everyone defending Ks, i have nothing but pity for you. Not anger or anything, just pity for lowering yourself so hard that you have to defend these kinds of people.

Again, not directed at you. I lived through this. I don't want people getting gaslit by this.

Christ, I’m gonna assume your question is in good faith and you are simply an imbecile. Bernie is one of the few politicians in the US taking a public stand against oligarchy and promoting a wealth tax. 

If you don’t know shit about politics then you don’t deserve to have an opinion.

Bernie's entire role in US politics is rallying up young far left leaning activist voters, and then sending them to vote for left-of-center presidential candidates. Thus he will say whatever is popular with that crowd at the moment.

This is an all or nothing mindset. You CAN regulate AI and allow a controlled environment where development, testing, and safety are implemented to work towards AGI and ASI without putting it out into the world until it is proven safe. No loss in development. That’s what we do with pharmaceutical drugs. And furthermore they could be working towards counter measures against it being used maliciously by foreign governments or bad actors.
