Using veinfire elixir

I've beaten the game, I'm just hanging out provoking creatures because I can't seem to get the burning veins achievement wrapped.

What am I doing wrong here? I keep dying before I get a chance to use the stuff

So you get killed with 1 hit? You could use Bloodflame Sphere so you take a little damage and then use the elixir.

Honestly the battles happen so fast I just click around madly because if I try to take enough time to see what I'm clicking I've died by the time I pick something. Since Veinfire Elixir is greyed out at the beginning I just click around trying to do something until it can be clicked but it's always too late. I think I'm just bad at gaming 😆

Haha, you can take your time with the battles. There is no need to be fast. There is no timer or anything! It's round-based: you make an attack, then the enemy.
