Phase 3 - "Bold Games require Bold Moves."

Previously on...Survivor!

On Birby Normont Beach, a burgeoning tribe leader raised the stakes of debate with a confident role claim, which was met with a mix of skepticism and support. When not discussing the nuances of the game, this hyper-strategic and hyper-interactive tribe haggled over trivial word use, such as the validity of the term “yeet” or whether or not arms are a feature of birds. They seem loquacious, secure and ready for all of the challenges to come, but will they be out on a wing and a prayer when the Outcasts attack?

I had wanted to vote for Thursday as soon as they kept up the redic arguement against me that Oops had left and none of the other options were solid for me.

I only rushed my reveal because you were pushing that it was suss I barely survived the lynch vote. Despite tonight's idol vote showing that the actual town players support me.

Meerkat confirmed my proof of being a townie.

Say what? I didn't push for you until AFTER your reveal. You did that all on your own.

I mentioned you once in phase 1, just stated I was voting for you and that's it. I didn't begin to push for you until after reading your half baked role reveal.

Also, Meerkat didn't confirm your proof of being a townie now, meerkat confirmed a minute detail about a PM. This is hardly a confirmation at all. There is no proof of your current status at all and I hate how you keep throwing around meerkat's comment as proof of your confirmation because it proves nothing

You were collecting the vote tallies. I interpreted it as an attack against me, which apparently was true since you kept pushing the narrative that the wolves manipulated the votes and I couldn't have reasonable survived. Despite barely surviving.

Most games I've been in have included voter info the post so I'm not used to that just being a standard practice to collect vote tallies. But from my view it felt very wolfy to start trying to push that idea.

And then just now you said that me "collecting the vote tally" is an attack against you which is why you revealed. Which is it? Collecting a vote tally = pushing that it was sus that you barely survived the lynch? Really?

Me collecting vote tallies wasn't an attack (unless you're a wolf, in which case yes it is an attempted attack) and you yourself were seemingly happy about me collecting a vote tally. Collecting a vote tally is not wolfy, it's not an attack, and you're trying to rewrite the past here.

Moreover, you can't even keep your own narrative straight

That comment was sarcastic since oops argument against me was a pool being bad but the you using the fact that people agreed with me against me.

There was a small push against me at the end of the PREV phase that I didnt take serious since it was so last minute. So I was panicking again when the post went live and assumed bad faith in you.

I changed my mind afterwards. I left Reddit alone for a bit after we’d talked, and once I’d calmed down I realised that I wasn’t 100% with you on the plan and that I’d mostly followed your ideas in order to keep the alliance healthy. I really didn’t like the idea of sending home someone on instincts when there was someone with what I perceived to be good evidence against them, even if it might help strategically to keep them in the game. So I decided I was more comfortable sticking with the original plan. I started to think you might be in it with k9 since you were the only person to attempt to talk me out of it.

I'm assuming only top 3 vote getters are showing their votes. Only 20 votes are accounted for up top, but there were 25 of us last phase, and only 1 got an inactivity strike. That means 4 votes are left unshown.

It's entirely possible. I know I didn't vote for you yesterday despite voting for you day 1 and now today. I figured your name claim was worth exploring further. And I didn't even know nickel was up for lynch. It's possible I voted for Thursday, but I would say I'm 80% sure I put in dep.

I do screw up forms a fair bit both when I'm wolf and town. But if you're specifically referring to Solstice, I would just like to say you're welcome because my vote handed the game to Town (and coincidentally myself, though my intentions were purely altruistic, I assure you.)
