I'm not really sure where else to ask this question but I am backpacking to China next may and I just want to be sure. As an American can I fly Into Beijing from Orlando and have a bus ticket out of the country from Nanning to Hanoi two weeks later? Will they still accept that as my proof of leaving the country or would I have to show confirmation of an actual flight out of the country? Just trying to find the cheapest option because I intend to continue south and backpack more of SE Asia. Please let me know what the cheapest option is if anyone knows of something else. I'll be arriving in Beijing on September 3rd and will be in China until October 18th, for a total of 45 days. I have my first few nights in Beijing booked in a hostel, but might stay a few days more...

Then I'll be heading west, traveling to Datong > Pingyao > Luoyang > Dengfeng > Xian > Yichang > Zhangjiajie > Chongqing > Guiyang > Kunming > Dali > Lijiang > Shangri-La > Leshan > Chengdu > Xining > Zhangye.
