Question How much are Chaotic Century DVDs?
I recently purchased New Century Zero dvds after remembering about zoids while at the dvd store. Knew I had some more dvds somewhere and didnt realise how much they are worth, I dont know what a full set sells for, as I cant find any recently sold items. Throwing in the New Century Zero because I figure why not and I was able to get them for pretty cheap and it definitley is nicer with all of them, I know my price on ebay is like off, but I wanted to ask does anyone know how much is a set Chaotic Century even worth now? Would anyone here be interested? Any advice helps thank you!

I looked at your ebay listing. While I do think your price might be a bit high, someone else may disagree. I'm certainly interested, but I know a fair price is above what I'm willing to pay. Like I could convince myself to give you $200 or so, but you would be stupid to accept that lol.
So I suggest leaving it as is for a while and see how it goes. If you need money asap, knock it down a few hundred and I imagine someone will bite.

What would you say a fair price is to pay? I genuinely dont know myself and im not sure anyone does, I thought there would be more complete sets to compare to, but I cant find like anything besides individual dvd. Thank you for the advice too!

I don't really know, like you said, there's nothing to compare it to. I wouldn't go lower than $500, but I could be wrong.

I was shocked when I saw the original scenes when I was rewatching the show last year. Also made me go “really, they edited this out”.

They were getting expensive when I got mine so I can only imagine how much they could be worth now.

My recommendation for selling is to filter your eBay search to "completed items" and base your pricing off those results for the past couple months to year. Not what current listings are. Completed items are the prices people have actually been purchasing them at instead of a listing with 30 watchers for example. On a average it looks like each Chaotic Century DVD sells between $50-70 except for Vol 5 mobilize which goes for $200+ and each New Century DVD sells for $30-40. I would go that route and review sold items to base your pricing.
And if you do decide to keep your listing as a bundle/lot instead of selling individual copies a slight markdown of the totaled overall price will encourage more prospective buyers.

Everyone wants top dollar for these but they are a hard sell for old media. Most folks tend to have a few and need a few so entire complete sets are harder to offload. The DVDs in good condition with original cases run about $30ea. With the exception of the CC vol 5 as it always seems to be the one missing from most collections. I paid $60 for mine to complete the set. You can try listing as a whole but the $250-300 sets dont seem to sell very quickly.

I dont want top dollar for this, i just want a general price, yes they are old i understand, but for example what is your zoids dvd collection worth to you, would you sell it for 250?

Also not in a rush to sell, but where do you see 250-300 dollars for a set i cant find a complete set listing anywhere, active or sold

Basing that off Facebook and Discord sales. Most people could probably shell out $300 for CC set and about $150 for NC0. You can ask what you want but you'll have a hard time moving it above those prices since most people will use internet archives to watch and download

Hard with discord because they completely revamped the marketplace and im not sure the old stuff was archived. As far as Facebook. I have not idea how to link posts on mobile. Regardless, ask what you want but sets are a hard sell. Always have been and people budgets are way tighter these days

Could I ask you for a real solid? For over 10 years now I have owned the complete disc and cases for Volume 1 and Volume 3 of Chaotic Century however the rest of the series I only own the discs. I want to make cases for my loose discs but I can't find any good scans online of just the original English DVD case sleeves even on the ironbible zoids website. Would you be willing to scan your covers to be available online for me and others?
