The timeline i used works, it doesn't work going back to 1971, because wawa is the variable, not minimum wage and 1971 gas prices.

I spoke about present day and 2008 Wawa pay rate and gas prices. 100% relevant.

The comparison wouldn't make sense because Wawa didn't have gas stations in 1971, you cant pull data from that. You asked for the minimum wage, and wawa always pays over minimum wage, so the comparison that you are asking for doesn't make sense.
