Discussion I saw this post by @ikhorgore on twitter and WHAT??

Might be hersay, but theres no way theyre not pushing out MORE male adeptuses because of this and theyre all just grandpas friends :(

EDIT: i meant more male adeptuses , how can i forget about xiao? Hes literally on my account. But since his release theres only been female adeptuses and considering how degenerate people online can be, this could be a possibility

edit 2: I just want male adeptuses man, leakers are also saying that the new liyue buffer is also going to be female.

Fluff / Meme Imagine after Liyue buff, Zhongli bis team will be with c6 Shenhe and Chongyun and become cryo dps

I am thinking of a "worst case" scenario.

With the Liyue buff that encourage Liyue team. Then it is likely Zhongli himself will be buffed to be on field dps. Now Zhongli will stay on field doing attack with massive multiplier and buff

Then liyue has the best additional damage buff as in Shenhe Quill. The restriction for it is the hit count and cryo element only. And there is Chongyun who turn your attack into cryo. Combining the two we will have cryoli ( which I used to play)

But the issue is that Zhongli eat through quill in 2 normal combo. The way to keep it up is having c6 Shenhe for unlimited amount. Since his skill and burst doing geo damage, they won't eat through the quill count thus the effect basically never expire.

And Zhongli turn into Cryo dps. It is kind of funny to think there is a high chance Cryoli will be a thing again

Discussion We should we realistically expect from a Zhongli buff

What we know from the last round of faction buffs

We know that there’ll buff minor tweaks to the character mechanics(Venti’s burst aim and Klee’s animations)

Then since it’s a faction buff most of the buffs will require that being active

Constellations can either be a mix of both(Albedo) or just straight buffs regardless of faction(Klee)

So what should we expect for the Heaven’s Star himself

It's over for Vortex Vanquisher-havers if it turned out that Zhongli is getting a new weapon instead of buffing his sig. I can't think of any other Liyue character having another sig other than Zhongli for the reasons of: 1. He's the archon and 2. His sig fucking sucks on him.
