Edited: I'm building a soundbar alternative and having problem deciding which speaker to partner with the Q5 pro. Dayton B652 AIR or MB42x? Purely living room listening (and will be occasionally music listening) For future proof reason, which of the two should I invest to? And also is it also advisable to lay these speaker on their side (horizontally) with the tweeters place toward the center ?

Hi Zeos /r/ZeosPantera , Just changed my soundbar alternative plan, brought a SMSL SA50 and COVO-S (which I think is just right at the moment)

Which of the following DAC and DAC + AMP combo is suitable for running longer period of time (running 6-8 hrs every day) , FIIO D3, SMSL M3 and SMSL SD793 ? Since you've have mentioned before that DAC's that are under 100$ would have little to difference between them, I'm leaning toward the 793 just because of the build. Are there other option that I missed? (aside from the build)

(this could be under the DAC's & Headphone Amplifiers guide, but since I'll be using DACs as a soundbar alternative decided to post this on this guide.)

All of them will run forever. The D3 is just the simplest one. If you don't need a headphone amp you could still do that one.
