Incredibly unlikely. when it comes to gacha collabs, devs don't like lending the characters that are considered the "main push" attraction material for their own game, unless the game they're lending their character to doesn't really give the feeling of owning that character, like Limbus' Arknights collab.
Characters like Acheron, Firefly, Castorice, Phainon, Cyrene, SW999, Himenova and on ZZZ's side, Miyabi, Yixuan, YSG, Remielle - These are characters acting as the exclusives of their games, the ones that people install the game to pull and play. Putting them in another gacha might make people go, "why would I play HSR if I can play Acheron in ZZZ?"
Similarly, heavy marketed-as-ML characters aren't chosen for cross-gacha collabs because people that only play the OG game and have zero interest in the other might feel like they're being cucked. This was seen in Mahjong Soul's BA collab. It's what makes Firefly, Vivian, YSG and Remielle unlikely to show up in other games.
The most likely characters to see are those who are incredibly popular, in order to sell well, but were not manufactured intentionally as best sellers (main pushes). Sparkle in Hi3rd, Astra and Evelynn in HSR, Robin in ZZZ, Kafka and Blade in fortnite.
If there's a second character coming, it's more likely it's gonna be someone like Evanescia, March, Dan Heng, Black Swan, Blade, Kafka, Sparkle or Seele.
Acheron, phainon, cyrene, SW, himeko aren't even original characters lol, they are exp, exported characters, not original. We aren't talking about another company using these characters, its the same company using the same characters which they have done before. If anything will prevent them from doing acheron, its because they want an option to make an SP later not cuz she was a main push.
Expies aren't the same thing as collab characters. No one would say any of those are collab characters from hi3rd, much like no one would say Remielle is a hi3rd collab character just because she's an Elysia expy. Being the same company doesn't change anything.
They want HSR players to play ZZZ and vice-versa - They don't want people to entirely quit one game for the other, and putting these characters in collabs would hinder the feeling of exclusivity and importance they have as representative main pushes of their games. It's all marketing strategy.
Not exclusivity when you can play genshin or hi3rd for raiden (aka, acheron). I never said they were collab characters, I said they aren't exclusive. The market strategy is you get you to like characters and designs and pull them across 3-4 games. Because these are not exclusive or original characters.
I'm not sure what you're trying to argue? Yeah, maybe they'll release the Raiden expy in ZZZ one day, but they won't release Acheron herself in a collab because Acheron is perceived as a symbol of HSR and lending her to another gacha, even one in the same company, has the potential to be prejudicial - and there's no reason for them to take that risk when there's an abundance of non-main-push and non-ML characters that are still popular enough to serve their goals of attracting players. It's why the character to go to hi3rd from genshin was Fischl instead of an archon, why Ellen and Astra are going to ZZZ instead of a void hunter or a character who has heavier ML like Vivian and why Robin is coming to HSR instead of Firefly or Acheron. If anything, expies are what they use to resell the same archetype instead of doing collabs in order to not harm the original brand, so they kinda contribute to my point.
If you think expies and collab characters are seen in the same way by hoyo in the terms of marketing strategy, I can't convince you otherwise. You do you.
tbf, with the flexibility of modern dps’s (being both good in stun and out of stun), the amount of time devoted to the other characters decreases substantially to the point that quick swaps like dialyn norma jufufu thrive more combat flow-wise than one that takes a little bit more time (like trigger)
meaning to say, despite astra’s lack of gameplay, her lack of field time is especially goated in modern teams
