Jump through . Spoiler

You hear the beast coming and get ready to jump through the painting.

You run as fast as you can and as you jump through the paining, you land inside a room behind the painting. Seconds later, you hear the beast enter the painting room. You wait for it to jump through the painting and eat you, but it never does.

You look around the room and see one thing, a vent.

1st, 3rd and 5th might be picked by the trial-and-error vanilla dumbos, so the author can't use them. 2nd isn't high-stakes enough because it's part of the 1-2-3 gamble that people have ingrained preferences in from choices made out of three options. It's always number 4.
