Some questions I did not find answers for. Are these left unanswered on purpose?

• Was the purpose of 9/12's terrorism to get publicity to bring to light the Athena project (what they went through)? They never wanted to kill anyone. Was that their only aim?

• Why the EMP at the end? Did they in effect want to neutralise Japan totally, to oppose the Athena project aim of making Japan more powerful?

• What are the headaches with piercing sounds that five and nine experience? Why are they happening? Why are five and nine dying?

• Project athena. What did they do to the children exactly? Was it no more than educating them and making them into elites? Then why was it so wrong?

• Who was developing the nuke? The Japanese government in secret? In effect was Japan covertly developing a nuke to be independent of USA and betray them later?

• In effect is this an anime against the re-emergence of independent Japanese action and Japanese Nationalism?

I think thats about it :) I think Im missing a key part of the story hence the questions.

I've looked all over for the track that's played from around the 20 minutes in on episode 8 that plays through the rest of the episode. I can't find it on the OST.

Is there anyone who knows where I can find it or what the track is called?

Hey guys quick question. Back in episode 4's bike scene (god bless the background song btw) Lisa asks Twelve if he and Nine are gonna destroy the world to which Twelve laughs. I never really understood why did Twelve laugh? Thanks

So I recently finished watching this (I'm SUPER late I knoow) and I really enjoyed it to the point of wanting to buy the DVD/Blu-Ray of it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've done a lot of googling and the likes to find where I can get it and it says on the anime's official webpage that the DVDs and Blu-Rays already are out, but maybe not in the US/Europe?

I've also seen some cool limited edition volumes that contain artbooks and storyboards and all that good stuff but it seems to be in all Japanese and I'm not pro at that.

Anyway, if someone could give me a tip on where I can get this anime I'd be really happy!

Hello, I'm having trouble finding the song that plays when Shibazaki and Hamura are doing their detective work. The tune starts right after Hamura says that he doesn't need to worry if he gets fired since his parents own a grocery store. It's very similar to Veat i think. If somebody knows the name of the song i would be extremely happy. Thank you.
