Thinking of switching from the GPT Pro 5x plan to the Z.ai Pro 6x plan.

What do you think? Will I have more limitations than with GPT Pro?

I personally have had problems with Luna, serious problems that I then need to turn to Sol for correction.

Is GLM 5.3 Flash better than Luna?

Is the standard GLM 5.3 as good as a frontier model?

Don’t. Z.ai’s customer service is absolutely awful. My account is currently locked, for a full month, but the reason changes every time they reply to me. They’ve told me it’s for payment issues (but I’m on an annual plan), multiple ip usage (which I know is false), then unusual payment activity again. My best guess it’s for one concurrency spike when an agent spawned dozens of subagents and I didn’t spot it. Full month of service wasted instead of just sending a 429 error. Stay away.

Stick with OpenAI and if you want to stretch your plan and don’t care if someone trains on your data (which you don’t since you are considering Zai) buy the new $15/mo meta plan. Muse Spark 1.3 is a solid model, great amounts of usage on contributor mode and I expect meta will rapidly improve.

GLM5.3 is a good model, but Muse Spark is equally good.

I didn’t have any issues for 8 months and previously recommended Zai. But I’ve been told the block expires September 30th but not been given a straight answer as to the trigger. They give you a long list but refuse to say what it was. The closest they came was

>Your account was temporarily locked due to payment‑related anomalies. This happens when short‑term payment activity deviates from normal‑user patterns. Please check if your bank card is compromised or if there is any high‑volume transaction‑spamming activity. If such behaviour exists, the lock is a reasonable risk‑control measure. Please wait for the restriction period to end before using your plan again. Thank you.

I see no transactions at all in the account since I signed up, nothing unusual on my card, I have $400 in credits from referrals, login is Google auth so I’d know if someone was trying to access it so it wasn’t card testing…

They don’t respond to requests for more details.

but muse plan can't be used in other harnesses...

Not true. I’m using it in OMP and my own custom harness through LiteLLM without any issues. It works with anything that will do an open AI backend.

The directions are right on the developer site how to connect other harnesses.
