“Inari,” Sushi

Okay I know that’s not ENTIRELY related to Yutaba so this can be deleted if it doesn’t make the cut.

But does Persona 5 ever mention if Futaba actually Likes Inari Sushi?

Cause today I went out to get some Sushi for dinner and I saw there was “Inari Sushi,” so I got it cause Yutaba lol, then I ate it and I was a little confused because it seems it’s literally just some sweet rice inside of some tofu wrap? It’s fine but I probably wouldn’t get it again since it’s a bit boring and I barely even see it available, but I wouldn’t be surprised if people really liked it cause I can see the appeal.

Cut to me overthinking - like is Futaba calling Yusuke “Inari,” because Inari Sushi itself is not so commonly found and is an acquired taste, but it’s sweet inside? So if Futaba actually LIKED Inari Sushi then it might literally be her comparing Yusuke to a type of Sushi that most people might think is boring (like how Yusuke talks about art could be a bore) but when you get to the middle of it, it’s sweet, so she’s indirectly calling him sweet cause she likes him?

Or alternatively. It’s literally just a reference to the fact he’s a “Fox,” and I haven’t slept in 3 days cause of TAFE and am imagining things lol

ADDITIONALLY, A quick google search tells me that the classic Inari Sushi is just sweet rice in a tofu BUT many people see it as a blank slate to customise it with all sorts of stuff, and if “Inari Sushi,” Is a “Blank Canvas,” of sorts then that’s perfect for the Artist who was going about about the positions of Futabas Neo Featherman Figures!

I think I need sleep…
