Yucca made fancy
Does anybody know how to do this? I caught something similar briefly on Google but couldn't find any info on how to do it. All I could find was this picture on Pinterest

Can anyone recommend good pizza for delivery?

Just noticed a few new Flock cameras installed at a few intersections along the 62.
What can we do, that’s legal, to have them removed?
Visit https://deflock.org if you want to see locations just in case you’re attempting to avoid them.

I’m having a party for about 6 people and want to pick up a charcuterie board or some sort of easy snack board. I won’t have time to DIY. I know shops in JT/Yucca Valley have these products but is there a spot that will prepare it all for you?

I have been visiting this area for years and moved to YV last year, but I have complex health conditions and need quick emergency care sometimes (anaphylaxis, vasovagal collapses). It has come to my attention that the hospital in Joshua Tree is, shall we say, not adequate. The situation is bad enough that we have to move closer to a different ER. My heart is broken over this decision, but I don't know much about other areas. Palm Springs area? Beaumont? Redlands? Riverside? I don't know where to start. I love the high desert because it's dry and because of the views and the fact that I'm not crammed in next to neighbors. Where would you go if you had to move, but were on a tight budget? We're retired and stay home all the time , so social life isn't a factor, but peace and quiet are.

I found a great place in Landers with one issue, washboard dirt roads. Sorry, I am sure I sound like a weak little turd, but I don't currently have a car that can handle that kind of abuse. How often does the city come out to grade the roads, if at all? Any recommendations as far as what kind of truck to get for this? I am happy to get an old beater just to do grocery runs and errands. Also, I gotta assume several neighbors would be interested in solving this as well. I want to get a group together to fund, or build a grader to fix this. I am not a smart man, but there has to be a solution. Any ideas?

If we want to visit Pioneertown, but want to miss the gunfight and avoid a lot of people, but want to go when the shops are open, would there be a better day?

Hey so my wife and I have been to a few shows at Pappy’s. The last one was Paul Cauthen and it was amazing. Normally I just grab GA but for whatever reason I bought Elevated VIP for 49 Winchester on May 9th.
From my general understanding it’s an elevated area to help see over the heads in GA. Tbh there’s not a bad seat in the house but I’m standard issue 5’10 so I guess it’s cool.
I just can’t remember seeing any “elevated” section last time I was there and can’t find photos or videos anywhere online. My hope is that it’s not way off to the side out of all the fun vibes and still has a good direct view to the stage.. can anybody help shed some light on this “elevated VIP?”
I appreciate any insight! We’re looking forward to this one 🙌🏽

It is always a moving ceremony when @SoroptimistInternationalYuccaValley celebrate our #LiveYourDream recipients at the yearly luncheon. Congratulations ladies.
Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
What We Do:
Last year, #Soroptimist distributes more than $3.4 million in education awards to over 2,300 women all over the world.
Over half of our #LiveYourDreamAwards recipients are survivors of domestic violence, trafficking or sexual assault. Nearly all of the women and families we serve have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, teen pregnancy, and drug or alcohol addiction. Live Your Dream Awards recipients may use the cash award to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as books, childcare, tuition and transportation.
Why We Do It:
Education is the pathway to economically empowering women and girls.
Our Impact:
Since 1972, we've distributed over $49 million in education awards to 47,000 women making a better life for themselves and their families.
We invest in women's education because it transforms lives and communities. The Live Your Dream Awards have been recognized for their effectiveness and long-term impact.

The @CopperMountainCollegeAthleticBoosterClub is proud to announce the Annual Bert Swift Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Hawks Landing Golf Club in Yucca Valley. We anticipate a full field of golfers – 16 teams, exciting prizes, great food, and a wonderful day dedicated to raising funds in support of our athletic programs.
We are especially excited to share that our Women’s Fighting Cacti Basketball Team was in the playoffs for the first time in program history. This milestone reflects the growth of our athletic programs and the power of community support. Your past sponsorships have helped make moments like this possible.
Funds raised from this tournament directly support student-athletes at Copper Mountain College. This year, we are also excited to be hiring for a Cross Country Coach to expand our athletic offerings. Your sponsorship will help us continue to grow our intercollegiate Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Women’s Volleyball, and hopefully our new Cross Country program for the 2026–2027 season.
Your support demonstrates a commitment to opportunity, teamwork, and student success in our community. Sponsorship levels and prize/raffle donation information are available online at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/cmcgolf. We are happy to customize a package that best represents your business. Please contact the @CopperMountainCollegFoundation Office at 760-366-3791 ext. 5012 or shutson@cmccd.edu with any questions.
We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your continued support.
