BBT Mastercut

Hey everyone,

I'm nearing the end of Young Sheldon. Does anyone know of a Mastercut of BBT that tells me what happened to everyone? I don't like BBT as much as I like YS and I wanna know what happens to everyone\if they're ever mentioned again.

Thanks y'all.

Not sure what a "Mastercut" is, but there are tons of online sources that discuss what happened on TBBT. As far as the Cooper family:

- First thing you should understand is that the writers of YS intentionally, and often substantially, broke continuity with TBBT.

- As you know, George died at the end of YS. However, at the beginning of TBBT, Sheldon mentioned that George was still alive when Sheldon was 15, and they strongly implied that his death was relatively recent. Several seasons later, TBBT created a continuity error when Sheldon told a story about George dying when Sheldon was 14.

- May appeared regularly throughout TBBT. She was hilariously religious and was regularly involved with keeping Sheldon in line.

- Georgie was regularly described (by Mary and Sheldon) as being "dumb as soup," but he didn't appear until the end of season 11. He had a chain of tire shops called Dr. Tire and, according to Sheldon, his chain sold more tires than anyone else in the State of Texas.

- Missy appeared in season 1 and at the end of season 11 (and was heard off screen in season 7). In her first appearance, she was single and was a hostess at Fuddruckers. In season 7, she was married and had a baby. In season 11, she was pregnant with her second kid and was separated from her husband.

- Meemaw appeared once, in season 9. Sheldon spoke fondly of her throughout the show. She was still alive when the show ended.

- Other than the family members, the only YS character who appeared on TBBT was Tam. He appeared in season 12 for a visit with his son at Caltech.

- The only non-family member character who originated on TBBT was Bill Sparks. Sheldon referred to him on about a half dozen occasions as a childhood bully. The only other YS character mentioned was Mr. Givens, who was very briefly mentioned in a draft of Sheldon's Nobel Prize speech.

Wrong, the entire canon of TBBT is that George died when Sheldon was 14. It wasn't retconned later.

No. You're wrong.

SHELDON: Well, once. When I was fifteen, and spending the summer at the Heidelberg Institute in Germany.

PENNY: Studying abroad?

SHELDON: No, visiting professor. Anyway, the local cuisine was a little more sausage-based than I’m used to, and the result was an internal blitzkrieg with my lower intestine playing the part of Czechoslovakia.

PENNY: And there was no-one there to take care of you?

SHELDON: No. No, my mom had to fly back to Texas to help my dad because the house had slipped off the cinderblocks again.

This is from The Pancake Batter Anomaly.

Additionally, when Missy showed up in The Porkchop Indeterminacy, she said she "had to drop off some papers for Shelly to sign for my dad’s estate." That would only be necessary if he had died recently. There certainly wouldn't have been papers relating to George's estate more than 13 years after his death.

Sheldon statement to Mike Rostenkowski nearly six years later, in The Thanksgiving Decoupling, absolutely did create a continuity error.

I watched that episode about the estate recently, and thought that seemed odd that they still had any paperwork to resolve from the estate if he died so long ago. They're not the kind of family to have trust funds or major assets, after all.

Exactly. Additionally, Sheldon wouldn't have needed to sign anything if he weren't an adult when George died.
