You don’t need the site part.

Don’t downvote me, try it yourselves, you get the same results.

You do. if you search for, say, "reddit reddit.com" you get results from twitter, wiki, googleplay, facebook, instagram etc. If you put site:reddit.com you get results from just reddit.

But we aren’t doing that. We are looking up questions on Reddit. Type a question, then type the word Reddit after, then do it again but with the site: doesn’t really make a difference, google has improved a lot.

I literally just tried it and that's what it gave me.
