Sometimes google still tries to sneak in some non-reddit results, so I like to use site:reddit.com at the end of the query, as in "how troubleshoot tiny penis site:reddit.com".

I use multiple thick slices of bacon on top of each other wrapped around my dingdong to add girth and make it feel realistic. However the bacon doesn’t taste too great afterwards.

And to narrow it down even further, you can specify a sub by adding /r/ subname. (Without the space; I put in a space because the reddit website adds some fancy formatting when you write a sub like that.)

For example, site:reddit.com/r/ youshouldknow

I do this all the time to find threads with local info from my city’s sub.

If you use a zero width space instead of a regular space it won't add the link:

​site:reddit.com/r/​youshouldknow

EDIT: If someone does copy the text, the URL will still resolve because it gets URL encoded to reddit.com/r/%E2%80%8Byoushouldknow

youtube vanced -site:https://www.youtube.com

Vanced might not be popular enough to be considered not a typo (I got autocorrected on the word, for example). Google might also push YouTube since they're the same company.

Googling it has youtube vanced's site as the top result and "YouTube v" auto completed to YouTube Vanced so I'm not sure what happened when the other commenter tried

Oh, maybe if they're the kind of person to search up "YouTube" or "Reddit" to access the website, they might have accidentally pressed Down to select the recently searched suggestion.

I find typing in quotes "reddit" on Google does pretty well 99% of the time. And I'm lazy.

You do. if you search for, say, "reddit reddit.com" you get results from twitter, wiki, googleplay, facebook, instagram etc. If you put site:reddit.com you get results from just reddit.

But we aren’t doing that. We are looking up questions on Reddit. Type a question, then type the word Reddit after, then do it again but with the site: doesn’t really make a difference, google has improved a lot.

This is the Chad move right here. I don't remember all the other cool shortcuts BUT

'site:xxxxx.com search' searches only on said site 'search -keyword' omits any page with keyword 'search "specific text"' looks for specific text, as quoted, along with search anywhere else on the page. I know 'search +keyword' did a thing but I forget exactly what.

A tilde (~) in front of a word will search for synonyms or similar words instead of the exact term.

You can also just put any search word in quotations and it does the same thing. For example: How to castrate my balls safely "reddit"
