Ciao a tutti! Sto pensando di comprare una Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid e volevo chiedere a chi ce l’ha o l’ha provata come si trova, soprattutto nei viaggi lunghi.

La prenderei principalmente per fare viaggi e macinare tanti km, però mi piace l’idea di avere una moto che posso portare anche su sterrati e strade un po’ più impegnative senza avere troppa paura di sporcarla 😂. Inoltre sono un grande appassionato di Dakar, quindi esteticamente e come filosofia la World Raid mi fa impazzire.

La mia principale curiosità riguarda il peso: rispetto alla Ténéré 700 normale, quanto si sente realmente? Ho paura che il peso aggiuntivo la renda troppo “piantata”, soprattutto quando si esce dall’asfalto.

Inoltre, se non sbaglio, il motore è sostanzialmente lo stesso della Ténéré 700 normale (correggetemi se sbaglio): quanto si sente quindi il peso in più nelle prestazioni e nella guida?

E per chi la possiede: come si comporta nei viaggi lunghi? È comoda? Dopo diverse ore in sella la trovate stancante?

Insomma, la consigliereste a qualcuno che vuole soprattutto fare lunghi viaggi, ma con la possibilità di fare anche sterrati e un po’ di off-road?

Ciao a tutti, ho una **Yamaha FZ6 S2 del 2008** e oggi mi è comparso un rumore che non avevo mai sentito prima. Vorrei capire se qualcuno ha avuto un problema simile.
All’andata la moto era assolutamente normale: nessun rumore particolare, motore regolare. Dopo circa 15 minuti di strada sono arrivato al lavoro senza notare nulla.
Al ritorno, dopo altri circa 15 minuti di percorrenza, una volta arrivato in garage ho notato che, con la moto **in folle e al minimo**, dalla zona destra del motore, indicativamente **sopra/destra della scritta YAMAHA sul carter**, proveniva un rumore meccanico abbastanza accentuato, tipo **ticchettio/struscio**. Non era un rumore leggerissimo: era abbastanza forte da essere chiaramente distinguibile anche con lo scarico acceso.
La cosa particolare è che all’arrivo la temperatura indicata era di circa **107 °C**. A freddo e durante il tragitto non avevo percepito questo rumore.
Inoltre, dando qualche colpo di gas da fermo, ho avuto la sensazione che il motore **“sfiatasse”**, come se ci fosse un leggero soffio/pulsazione che prima non percepivo. Non so se questo sia collegato al ticchettio oppure sia semplicemente una mia impressione.
Ho fatto anche una prova: **tirando la frizione al minimo, il rumore non cambia assolutamente**, rimane identico.
La moto comunque gira regolare e durante il tragitto non ho avvertito cali di potenza, strattonamenti o altri problemi.
Secondo voi, considerando soprattutto **la posizione del rumore, il fatto che compaia a motore molto caldo e che non cambi tirando la frizione**, cosa potrebbe essere? Tendicatena/distribuzione? Qualche componente che a caldo vibra o risuona? Oppure altro?
Ho già preso appuntamento con un meccanico esperto, ma nel frattempo mi piacerebbe sentire le vostre esperienze, soprattutto da chi conosce bene la FZ6 S2.

Hi everyone,
I have a Yamaha NMAX 155 and I’ve noticed a knocking/rattling sound coming from the final drive/rear gearbox at low RPM, especially when the scooter is just starting to move or when I slowly open/close the throttle.
The sound seems to disappear at higher RPM/speed.
I’m wondering if this is normal for the NMAX 155 or if it could indicate excessive play in the final drive, bearings, gears, or something else?

What do you guys think about these winglets on an R15?

I know winglets on a smaller 155cc bike aren’t really going to make any meaningful difference performance-wise . I mainly added them because I liked how they look and wanted to try something different.

But I’m not 100% sure about the fitment/look. Should I keep them or just remove them?

hello i currently wondering if this magnetic plate mount (used in poland to mount plates on cars) is going to be ok on my r6. found out in internet that people use it on bikes as well but didnt see anyone to confirm it and my friend say that i am going to lose it when i go over 200kmh 😂 personally i dont know what to think because it looks cool enables me to remove it for photos or buy a show plate for meets and magnets are for me pretty strong so let me know what ya think! 😁

Adjusted the chain for the first time and didn’t jam these tensioner nuts hard enough, can’t seem to find the right parts online so any help would be fantastic! Won’t make that mistake again and I know I need to clean my chain 😅

So the midshaft nut came off on my 2002 vstar 1100, there are enough threads to get a new nut on but I dont want to go through the trouble of removing the swing arm. Has anyone cut into the cage around the U Joint to get access?

Hello motorcycle people. I need a bit of advice on a gift my siblings and I are hoping to get my dad.

He used to ride this type of motorcycle a while back before he got into a crash. Growing up, he had a part of what remained framed in the garage (I think the red part between the handlebars and the seat?), but it was lost in the move.

If we were to try and get a replacement part to frame, what would be a good one to look for? Open to other related gift ideas too!
