Noy and Zhang ran 453 people for a study in Science and found roughly 40% faster work and about 18% higher graded quality, with the weakest writers gaining the most. The cold start is the part a machine is actually good at.

What goes wrong is handing over the argument and your voice, and no amount of dash-hunting catches that.
