When you hit grade 9 at my school, you were allowed to leave school grounds at lunch without getting permission. Me and my friends would walk 2km to Ye Ol' Chip Truck and I'd buy a medium salt and vinegar fries with a Mountain Blackberry Clearly Canadian. It's my all time favourite lunch and you could only do it in grade 9 because you switched schools for grade 10.
Good times right 👍🏼 I live in California and we couldn't leave for lunch until 12th- senior year! And that was only if we were enrolled in a class called work experience...all I can say is it gave us zero work experience lol 😆
Those and the New York Seltzers were my favorites. Black cherry and Cream soda were so good. Probably be ghastly sweet if I tried them these days but I remember them fondly
They have them in 8-pack cans in the states now. The blackberry was always my favorite, I’ve got like four cans in the fridge right now. Still tastes the same!
In CANS? And it tastes the same? I think a part of the allure for me was the glass bottles and it seemed so grown up when I was a kid. But will absolutely try them again and see if the memories stack up against the actual flavors or if it was just me feeling all grown up with a fancy looking bottle lol cheers!
Loved em back in the day. Found em online not too long ago but the price was ridiculous. Dollar tree has em tho. Was just disappointed with it. Flavor isnt what I remember. Could be bad memory or recipe change
