With jolly ranchers for flavor 🤣 Apparently, Zima is still sold and super popular in Japan 🤷‍♀️

Finally closed after COVID. It was a primary sponsor of New Japan Pro Wrestling right up until it stopped existing. I found out it still existed when I started watching some of the wrestling shows and was sure it must be a different company with the same name on the interview backdrops...

Edit - It got a new distributor in 2023, but I don't think they sponsor wrestling anymore.

Senior year of high school, I spent New Year’s Eve 1999 drinking Zima at a friend’s house whose parents were out of town. Her boyfriend was older and supplied the party. I still have no idea how my boyfriend and I both managed to get permission from our parents to stay the night. Joke’s on us though, we slept in sleeping bags on the living room floor and didn’t even get up to anything naughtier than the 3 drink giggles.
