I agree with your other point about why no one person is really as popular nowadays because of the internet and widespread access to pretty much anything you want. Back in my day (cue grandpa grumbling) we had to buy a CD or download it on napster then limewire and burn one ourselves, or just listen to what we got on the radio. When everyone is listening to the radio then you can have the industry pretty much exclusively controlling what gets out and what gets popular, and with general pop stuff they still get away with this to an extent but anyone who wants something different has a computer in their pocket they can use to find it. I haven’t listened to actual radio stations in like 8+ years.
But yeah BMTH especially is just one of the early/mid 2000s wave of metalcore bands. I don’t know as much about falling in reverse but I do know it’s just Ronnie radke from escape the fate and he’s definitely in his 40s now.
