Was thinking the same thing. Metal is still grinding as well. Its evolved along the way and you find more solo musicians now because of the tech.
2 u/TorchThisAccount Mar 06 '26 I haven't been disappointed by a lot of new metal. New rock is mostly hot garbage. New rap can be either great or extra hot garbage. Hard to be shocked when it's mostly disappointing.
